Job description:

Selecting the right Technology, Package and Vendor is a core decision for our clients’ future. Implementing such a change requires skills and experience. Our client is looking for project and program managers, that are eager to assist our clients in this transformation journey.



Our project managers bring deep expertise in the banking and insurance markets, and combine the business knowledge with a proven track record of large-scale implementation and transformation programs.



As an ideal candidate,

- You have at least 5+ years of experience in the capital markets, banking or insurance industry, of which 3+ years as project manager

- You have managed projects with at least 10 FTEs and budgets > €1 million 

- You have experience in COTS Package Selection & Implementation in either of the sectors 

- You have done this by working alongside Technology Vendors and System Integrators

- You know the market. You worked with one or more of the key Vendors or Technologies, such as SAS, Murex, Calypso, SunGard, Misys, Algorithmics, SAP Hana, QRM, Swift, Clear2Pay and Guidewire, and implemented packages for Front-to-Back Trade Management, Collateral Management, Risk Management, Treasury, Payments Gateway or Financial Accounting & Reporting Solutions (IFRS 9 etc.) 

- You demonstrate experience in leading and delivering projects using near shore and offshore system integrators using Agile methods

- You have been involved in undertaking strategic studies and building a case for change for Technology / Vendor Selection for SaaS, PaaS and Cloud Computing

- You managed scope, planning, stakeholders, budgets, etc. and are used to report to C-level.

- Your projects cover both IT and business domains. 



You are a hands-on, results-oriented, social, diplomatic team player with leadership skills, and eager to work in Tier-1 environments. 

You are optimistic and flexible by nature, and have a ‘boots in the mud’ mentality. 

You have a degree in Economics, IT, Civil Engineering or MBA. Project methodology certification is a plus.
